New Year Resolutions.
2014th was full of events, and honestly I have accomplished almost all of my resolutions, except one: going to Portland, Oregon. Being inspired by TV Show “Portlandia” it was my dream to visit this magical city, where “Young people go to retire.” So, resolution #1 for 2015 is trip to Portland.
Resolution #2 is being more selfish. Sounds rude but let me explain why it is so important this year. In 2014 I was mostly concentrated on my health, but not on state of mind and soul. I was very general in my resolutions and did poorly on emotional part. This year will be completely different. If you remember movie “Miss Congeniality 2” you probably remember this famous quote: “People care about people, who care about themselves. But I just don’t care about those people.” These exact words will be the slogan for my 2015th. I have been so kind to people who never deserved it, I have built high expectations, while should just live my own live and do not try to change people who are not worth it. This year I’ll prove myself that I am better than anyone else. I will destroy gossipers and haters by my charisma, beauty, and success.
Resolution #3 is not as philosophical, as previous one. I resolve to buy new hat every month, so up to end of the year I will have a collection of 12 hats, all different shapes, sizes, and colors. I came up with this idea, when I bought my first felt hat in late November of 2014. Honestly, I was always skeptical about hats, because all Hat Looks I saw were complete ridiculousness and I new I cannot wear it on the daily basis. Everything changed when I saw my lovely grey, classic, felt hat. At the very first moment I saw it, I knew that I desperately need it. Now it is my favorite accessory and I wear it almost every day. Anyhow, now I will add to my Thursday Look day a monthly rubric, about the hat of the month, so I can keep up with my resolution #3
Resolution #4 is strictly professional since it is connected to my blog. I know that I was a terrible writer, not in terms of posts quality, but I was completely inconsistent and now I will be working on it every day, keeping up with schedule.
Resolution #5 is be beautiful, mindful, and happy every single day in this year. From 5 to 10 minutes meditation everyday, yoga on Saturdays and gym workouts according to challenge schedules, mani-pedi every two weeks, and spa services every month.
